How long does the tour last?

Our Trolley tour is a 50 to 55 minute, fully narrated tour of Anchorage. The tour is about 15 miles in length covering all the historic sites of Anchorage.

The tour begins on 4th and F St in front of the Log Cabin Visitor Center all summer long.

What time does the city tour start?

Our first tour always begins at 9 am. We run every hour in May and September and every half hour from June-August.

What time does the last city tour of the day start?

In May:
The last tour begins at 5:00 pm until May 15th
Starting May 15th Last tour is at 7:15 pm

June – August:
Last tour begins at 7:15 pm

September:
The last tour begins at 7:15 pm
After September 15th last tour is at 5:00 pm

How often do trolleys depart?

Our tours depart every hour in May and September and every half hour from June-August. Please check out our Trolley Schedule page for more information.

How early should I be for my tour?

Please check in 20 minutes before your scheduled tour. Reserved seats are released 10 minutes before the tour departs. Passengers who arrive late may have to reschedule their tour.

What if the trolley does not have available seats when I want to re-board?

If the city tour you want to board is sold out no need to worry! We depart either hourly or every 30 minutes and we will do everything we can get you on the next tour.

How much does the trolley tour cost?

Adults (12 years older): $20.00 USD
Children (12 years younger): $10.00 USD
Lap child (3 and younger): FREE

Where can I park?

Parking is available on the street anywhere downtown! There is a paid parking lot on 3rd and E St for all vehicles and RV’s, and a parking garage on 5th and E St.

Can I bring my stroller or wheelchair on board the trolley?

Yes, we can accommodate strollers but they must be collapsible and will be stored up front with the Tour Guide or at our trolley stop where the tour begins. Wheelchairs will be stored inside the Visitor’s Center located right in front of the trolley stop.

Are dogs allowed on the trolleys?

Service animals are welcome aboard our tour.

Are your trolleys handicap accessible?

We have one vehicle that is handicap accessible. Please notify us 24 hours ahead of time so that we may reserve your seat.
To board our trolley, you will only need to walk up 4 steps that are 6 inches tall.

Can I pay on board the trolley?

To purchase using a credit card, seats must be purchased in advance. In order to pay as you board, we only accept cash.
