We search together for a sighting of our most famous resident – the mighty urban moose. Every step of the way, you’ll be guided by a team of local Alaskans who love sharing the heart and history of our town. Anchorage City Trolley Tours is your first stop to begin your adventure in the “Last Frontier.”
Our trolley tour is approximately 50 to 55 minute, fully narrated tour of Anchorage. The tour is about 15 miles in length covering all the historic sites of Anchorage.
If the city tour you want to board is sold out no need to worry! We depart either hourly or every 30 minutes and we will do everything we can get you on the next tour.
Parking is available on the street anywhere downtown! Of course this type of parking is on a first come first serve basis. For guaranteed parking, there is a paid parking lot on 3rd and E St for all vehicles and RV’s, and a parking garage on 5th and E St.
Adults (12 years older): $20.00 USD
Children (12 years younger): $10.00 USD
Lap child (3 and younger): FREE
Yes, we can accommodate strollers but they must be collapsible and will be stored up front with the Tour Guide or at our trolley stop where the tour begins. Wheelchairs will be stored inside the Visitor’s Center located right in front of the trolley stop.
Service animals are welcome aboard our tour.
To purchase using a credit card, seats must be purchased in advance. In order to pay as you board, we only accept cash.
All of our tours are given in English.
Yes, the Anchorage Trolley Tours are fully narrated by knowledgeable, expert guides. However, an Anchorage Trolley Tours is more than just a narration, it’s an experience!
Food and drinks are welcome. However alcoholic beverages are not allowed under any circumstance for the safety and comfort of all of our guests.
