Hey Everyone,
Congratulations you are coming to Anchorage, Alaska! How exciting is that? Anchorage is known for many things from Amazing Trolley Tours, Wildlife sightings, Glaciers, and even our great food! I know everyone says they have amazing restaurants but I am here to tell you Anchorage has been a top tourist destination for many decades now and we have attracted some of the best chefs from around the world. I mean we have you interested in visiting, have you thought about moving here? Just an idea LOL Back to the food! Today we are going to talk about some amazing restaurants in downtown anchorage and what are my favorite dishes at each!

- Now I am a huge fan of Eggs and Beni’s but i am allergic to shellfish so i go with the BOB each time.

s well so i always call ahead to get my table reserved. They said reserve online is going to be a thing soon, 🤞 cross your fingers for you and me both.

- ADD the Avacodo for an upcharge but you will be glad you did!!!!
Now let me tell you about this breakfast sandwich, they cook the eggs right in front of you so they are piping hot. They then put that on a buttery croissant with cheese and your choice of protein. The cheese melts instantly so it’s a heavenly gooey mess that lasts all day if you don’t scarf it down right away.
Pil’s has other options like sandwiches hot or cold and soups, and they are all good. They are great for a packed lunch, but the breakfast Crossaint was what I can’t get enough of!

Now I know what you are thinking, Halibut is not a breakfast sandwich or has anything to do with breakfast. However, Halibut in Alaska is great anytime!
This Restaurant is a great family hometown diner. It has all the staples and something for everyone. This place has been in anchorage for GENERATIONS and it’s a family favorite!

I get the Heaven Ameracono – it is Coconut + Chocolate + Vanilla. This is my go-to drink and there are many reasons it’s on the board!

F Steet Station
Every Saturday and Sunday F st. serves up the best Egg benedict you could ask for. This bar will remind you of “Cheers” the Tv show. Their staff is mostly friendly, their drinks are amazing and the food is so good you Swear by it!

Glacier Brewhouse
On the weekend’s Glacier Brewhouse serves up an amazing brunch! If you are a Brunch person you will be glad you stopped in! The brewhouse is known for everything on their menu. My favorite item on the menu is their Herb Crusted Halibut with a side order of fries tossed in Parmesan cheese and Herbs. Now I know you have probably had something like this before, but they do it the best! Don’t believe me go try it for yourself!

Try their homemade Rootbeer and Cream Soda. If you’re into Beer they have them all! My favorite is their Raspberry Wheat! Glacier Brewhouse is great for the whole family, they even have a kids menu.
Captain Cook Hotel Breakfast
Captain Cook Hotel is the Best Hotel in the Anchorage Area! Every Celebrity from Nicholas Cage to the Property Brothers Stayed here. Even Obama and his family stayed here when they came to visit Anchorage! Captain Cook Hotel only hires the best chefs and also sends their chefs around the world to train with other great chefs to keep them up to date on the latest techniques. They have a few restaurants in their hotel and every one of them are enjoyed by locals and tourist alike.
